Mobile VoIP provider Vyke has announced that it has continued its extended period of strong growth through the 4th Quarter ending 31st December 2007.
The total number of paid Vyke IP based customer accounts increased by 29% to
1,302,828 from 1,012,030 at the end of the 3rd quarter 2007. This represents an average acquisition rate of 3,160 paid customer accounts per day, and an increase of 328% over the number of paid customer accounts at the end of the 4th quarter in the previous year.
The total number of calls placed via the Vyke product suite in the 4th quarter was 18.6 million, an increase of 11% from the 16.2 million calls processed during the 3rd quarter, and a growth of 162% in the number of calls placed via the Vyke product suite over the same period the previous year.

The year-end figure of 1.303m is consistent with our 4th December outlook of a total in excess of 1.25m. following an accelerated growth rate towards the end of the year.
