Distributor Westcon held an event for Avaya partners last week and gave a detailed insight into Avaya’s portfolio, looking across the infrastructure platforms, UC, Collaboration, Contact Centre and Networking.
Marketing Director Runa Macleod commented, “We had 130 attendees – so very well attended. We also set up a Solutions Zone where complimentary vendors such as AudioCodes, Radware, and Jabra could demonstrate their solutions and meet partners.
Westcon pre-sales also delivered demonstrations across Avaya’s products including Flare for iPad. Other exhibitors included the SIP School and Fluid (Avaya’s merchandising agency). Customer feedback was excellent with particular interest shown around Flare and Avaya video. Partners were also excited to learn about Avaya’s mid-market Contact Centre offering and enhanced networking portfolio.”
Westcon’s UK General Manager Tim Brooks said, “Our customers were asking for more information around Avaya’s portfolio which is very rich and broad. The event aimed to provide product positioning information as well as looking at the competitive landscape and roadmap. I’m delighted at the response we have received from partners who clearly benefit from our enablement initiatives such as this event.”
Fergus Kelly, Director of Capstone, “it was a highly informative and enjoyable day bringing us up to speed with all things Avaya.”
At the event Westcon presented Matthew Donoghue from Worldstone an iPad 2 in the prize draw.
