Westcon has invested in its Mitel partner enablement capabilities with the hire of a highly experienced pre-sales specialist and by becoming the only distributor to secure authorised training partner status.
With extensive Mitel knowledge, James Reid joins the Westcon Mitel team as a pre-sales specialist. Commenting on his appointment, Reid said: “these are fast-moving times in the world of UCC and, with Mitel back in the channel, partners can now really fast-track their ambitions through our end-to-end Mitel capabilities. As a team, we add significant value to partners looking to deliver class-leading solutions built on Mitel technologies and complementary vendors in networking, SD-WAN and endpoints.”

The Westcon Academy is Mitel’s exclusive training provider for EMEA and APAC delivering Mitel certified technical training. Courses for partners and their customers cover every aspect of Mitel’s portfolio and are delivered through public and virtual classrooms, tailored private sessions.
