Westcon has launched a major new Check Point initiative that provides existing and new partners to help customers rapidly modernise their security posture and close the cyber-threat generation gap. With latest Generation Five multi-vector attacks rendering organisations of all sizes increasingly vulnerable, Westcon has invested in a specific Check Point EDGE (Engage, Develop, Grow, Extend) programme featuring tailored tools and operational resources with the sole purpose of enabling partners to identify vulnerable customers swiftly and secure their operations.
Tom Deighton, Westcon Check Point Vendor Manager, said: “There is a huge opportunity for partners to bring customers that have not kept pace with the evolution of threats into the world of modern threat protection and simplified management with Check Point Infinity. Our Check Point EDGE team is here to work alongside partners wanting to fulfil their Check Point potential more rapidly. If they’re new, we will freely provide sales and technical enablement. For all partners, we will deliver the skills and support to run customer Security CheckUps, seek new customers, build relevant solutions and fast-track quotes and orders in a matter of hours. The team is skilled and experienced in Check Point’s technologies and sales operations, is briefed and already generating opportunity.”
Michael Wakefield, Check Point Head of Channel UK&IE added: “Enterprises need to protect themselves from sophisticated and dangerous attacks across their networks, endpoints, mobile estates and cloud deployments, but in a majority of cases they are still relying on outdated, older-generation security technologies that can only detect attacks after they have already occurred. Westcon’s EDGE team will play a key role in helping its partners to identify opportunities with both new and existing customers, and in demonstrating how those customers can dramatically improve their security postures with Check Point Infinity’s advanced protections.”
Westcon’s Check Point EDGE programme provides dedicated partner support in finding new customers, refreshing existing ones and enabling partners to fast-track their Check Point business growth and develop their in-house Check Point skills and capabilities.
