Mitel and Extreme distributor Westcon held a channel workshop event at Eton College’s new Dorney Lake rowing facility near Windsor at the end of May attended by 20 or more channel partners. The event, which included an update from Mitel on its new release 7 version of the 3300 ICP system, was livened up by the discovery of an infiltrator half way through the session.
The name of the competitor the gentleman worked for wasn’t revealed by Westcon but one of the channel partners attending the event recognised him and suggested he would have felt quite at home in the lake-side setting. The Mitel staff present took it as a compliment that their competitor felt the need to find out more about Mitel’s channel offering.
