Westcon Targets Video Channel

WestconGroup is targeting growth amongst its video channel with the appointment of Daniel O’Hare as UK Video Sales Manager for its Unified Communications and Collaboration Solutions practice.

Daniel joins Westcon with over 15 years in Audio-Visual, Video-conferencing and Unified Communications market, most recently at the integrator SCC. The new role will see Daniel lead a dedicated video sales team, tasked with managing opportunities with existing partners and taking new video collaboration technologies to market.

In the last year WestconGroup has complimented its video portfolio with new vendors Tely Labs and SMART’s Skype for Business Room System (SRS). Daniel’s team will concentrate on identifying the UC sales where video can add real value to an end-user and real revenue for partners, then provide a plan for taking partners beyond voice.
