Campbell Williams has left high profile London based reseller Charterhouse Voice & Data.
Williams was at Charterhouse in the role of marketing director for 3.5 years. In addition to marketing, he had key sales management and supplier liaison responsibilities. During his time there he was partly or wholly responsible for restructuring the sales team and go-to-market structure, building a new sales generation team and sales academy, creating a new company website, launching a new CRM platform, introducing a new commission plan and new sales tiering model, and introducing new client management processes.
On Williams watch the company also won numerous industry awards and introduced new services around cloud communicating and SIP-based converged access networks.
“I wasn’t looking for a new role but one came along that was too good to turn down. Charterhouse is a good company with good people and I wish them well for the future. NDAs mean that I can’t say you about my new venture except that it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I’ll be resurfacing shortly once my time with Charterhouse is complete. I can tell you that it’s in the comms industry, it’s in the channel and I’ll be part of a great team. It will be exciting, disruptive, news worthy and we’ll be providing more information over the coming weeks.”
