Working Telecoms Rings a Winner!

A competition held by Working Telecoms to celebrate 10 years in the telecommunications industry has been won by LinkedUp Fundraising, a business newbie that matches corporations, charities and individuals to raise essential funds.

At Working Telecoms’ Open Day held at their premises in Sarisbury Green, Lee Scott, Accountant for LinkedUp Fundraising, was presented with a top quality Toshiba CIX communications package by Mark Hoban, Minister of State for Work and Pensions and Conservative MP for Fareham.

The competition was open to businesses in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight that started up on or after 1st January 2012. Entrants explained how a Working Telecoms telephone system would help their business. LinkedUp Fundraising clinched the deal with their entry: “We need a new telephone system because we haveincoming calls blocking the line and also need staff and volunteers tomake outgoing calls. Each desk is a different section – CorporateDesk, Community Desk and CEO desk! We are hoping to expand andneed a system that can cope with increased communications as the businessgrows.”

Aimed at brand new businesses, the competition reflects Working Telecoms commitment to the local business community as MD, Paul Clift, explains: “Since we started in 2003, we haven’t looked back. Helping new businesses succeed is our way of saying a big ‘thank you’ to those who have helped Working Telecoms achieve 10 successful years in the communications industry.”
