Xelion has launched a new tier 1 Service Provider Accreditation alongside the current Certified Partner Accreditation. The business model has already been successfully run in the Netherlands and plays into the hands of resellers that don’t want to deal with the additional work load of terminating calls and managing the distribution of hardware.
Dave Reynolds, Managing Director said, “80% of our Dutch partners purchase the service via Xelion Service Providers who automate a large portion of the provisioning and customer build process, they also offer a full wrap service including bundled minutes and handsets. As we continue to grow in the UK we expect to see a similar trend with many channel resellers opting to source Xelion via a Service Provider rather than dealing with pulling together all the components themselves. Of course all partners have access to our marketing material and sales support teams to help prospect and win new business. We expect to announce our first major Service Provider partner in the coming weeks which will open the Xelion proposition to a much larger channel audience.”
Xelion launched their UK proposition back in 2016 with a build your own platform model which has seen the hosted voice developer successfully move in to the UK channel. The foundation of the Xelion service is to allow partners to connect their own SIP hardware and terminate calls on any network.
You will find Xelion exhibiting at Channel live on September 12th and 13th where they will be showcasing the platform to potential partners. You can register for Channel Live here.
