XLN Telecom CEO awarded for business achievement

Christian Nellemann, CEO of small business telecom provider, XLN Telecom, has received the Crème de la Crème Award for Outstanding Business Achievement.

In a year that has seen him increase turnover at XLN from £36m to £54m, treble profits to £12m, receive the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Business Services, and lead the XLN management team through a secondary buyout, this latest achievement recognises his drive and serial entrepreneur status.

Commenting on Christian’s success, Simon Burgess, joint founder, CEO, and chairman of the panel of judges, said, “With a turnover in excess of £50 million, a growth of 80% over the last two years and an increase in operating profit of almost 300% over the same period, XLN telecom is delivering outstanding performance. This is Christian Nellemann’s fourth successful venture having been named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 and 2010. Christian demonstrates an ability not only to identify substantial new business opportunities, but also to follow through and deliver relentlessly on the initial vision.”
