XMA saves 300 hours with Intelligent Billing

XMA has shared details of switching its billing processes to the Intelligent Billing platform from PRD Technologies. PRD developed a tailored VAR billing platform for Westcoast Cloud’s VAR network, and XMA was recommended to trial the billing platform last year by Westcoast Cloud.

After implementation XMA has increased its monthly billing through the new platform from £100k to over £200k per month within a 3-month period. PRD has now been contracted as XMA’s ongoing billing platform provider.

James Thorogood, CSP business manager at XMA, said, “We reduced our billing cycle by over 300 hours per month, resulting in a significant reduction in debtor days, but we are also now able to offer our clients a faster and more flexible billing experience.

“Previously the billing process was extremely cumbersome and complex for us. We used 7 different programmes and several manual processes to collate, calculate and invoice our billing data. The Intelligent Billing platform has simplified and revolutionised our billing process within one automated system.”

Simon Adams, managing director of PRD Technologies, added, “It’s been fantastic to be involved in these projects for Westcoast Cloud and XMA. Our converged platform addresses the complex billing challenges faced by this sector, enabling distributors and resellers to deliver one bill from a single automated platform.

“We’re proud of our unique systems capabilities which empowers resellers to offer complex cloud subscription and consumption services, bundles and packages without the complications associated with billing these services.”

XMA has customers in the healthcare, government, educational and corporate sectors, including the NHS, Ofsted, The Cabinet Office, University of Oxford, and Viacom.
