Yahoo! has announced the availability of Flickr as a mobile application for the iPhone. The launch underlines Yahoo!’s commitment to bringing the PC experience to the mobile platform, allowing users to access content-rich Yahoo! properties on their mobile phones.
The robust features in the mobile applications will allow consumers to personalise their mobile Internet experiences, access their favourite content and stay connected while on the go.
As well as the launch of the Flickr mobile application in English, French and traditional Chinese for the UK, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, the US and Canada, Yahoo! today also announces the availability of two new mobile applications in the US and Canada: Yahoo! Finance (iPhone and BlackBerry Apps) and Yahoo! Fantasy Football (iPhone / BlackBerry apps and mobile Web site).
The Flickr iPhone app allows people to easily upload, share and tag photos and videos while staying in touch with the Flickr community.
