Yealink's core T2x handset range secures interoperability with Alcatel Lucent Omnipcx

Yealink has confirmed interoperability of its highly acclaimed SIP-T2x handset range with Alcatel-Lucent’s software driven OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server.

Confirmation of successful compatibility testing under the Alcatel-Lucent Application Partner Programme will further widen the market appeal of the five T2x models. The award-winning range has already secured interoperability with other leading platforms such as Avaya’s Aura Communications Manager, Brekeke PBX, Broadsoft’s BroadWorks, Genesys SIP Server and 3CX.

Serving the mid to large corporate sector OmniPCX provides high availability by embracing open standard architecture and offers a truly integrated communications platform hosting traditional voice and IP technologies. Highly scalable and capable of supporting up to 50,000 users it enables increased productivity and enhanced interactions through incorporation of the OmniTouch Unified Communication suite. Featuring an embedded mobility solution it also offers a wide range of applications, including unified messaging, personal assistant and voice and data conferencing.

“Yealink is committed to securing the broadest possible interoperability with the world’s leading IP PBX providers so that our resellers may in turn offer the broadest possible range of solutions,” commented Yealink UK’s managing director, Andrew Roberts. “As it’s designed for the medium-to-large corporate market OmniPCX is a valuable addition to a growing cast of compatibility certifications, with many other platforms being focussed upon the SMB sector. Given the rich feature set and high affordability of the T2x models seamless integration with OmniPCX creates real opportunity.”
