In a statement issued by Samsung it was said that; "Samsung Electronics (UK) Ltd. is announcing that by mutual agreement Ali Zartash-Lloyd will no longer be working for the company with immediate effect. Following careful consideration of the evolving communications environment and in order to strike the appropriate balance across our portfolio, Samsung Electronics (UK) Ltd. is currently seeking to hire a head of networks combining broad skills across both business communications and carrier infrastructure.
Ali put in place many of the building blocks that will help us to build a successful networking business for the future and he has our gratitude for all that has been achieved during his tenure".
As reported in the January issue of Comms Business Magazine, David Norton who was Managing Director for Samsung Telecoms for nearly a decade left the company at the end of 2005.
