Zen Internet has announced the launch of SIP Connect, a SIP termination service designed for Channel Partners.

SIP Connect provides high quality termination of a Partner’s SIP traffic via Zen’s fully resilient UK core network. SIP Connect provides the link from the Partner’s Hosted Voice platform to the PSTN, providing competitive call rates allowing for greater margin potential.

Based on Zen’s geographically resilient SIP platform with over five years of proven success, SIP Connect offers competitive call rates from multiple quality carriers via resilient interconnects with PSTN speech quality.

Zen’s new data centre is an ideal complement to SIP Connect for Partners running their own voice platforms. Delivering reliable, resilient power and connectivity, Partners are able to host their voice platforms in Zen’s dedicated, energy efficient data centre, providing a secure, temperature controlled environment.

‘SIP Connect is a simple and important move for Partners either already selling Hosted Voice products or looking to move into this space. We know our Partners want full control of their solutions and this important development will give them this,’ said Andrew Saunders, Head of Product Management and Marketing.

‘With 24/7 support, SIP Connect comes with the same high level of service as Zen’s award winning Broadband. Introducing this new service clearly demonstrates our continued commitment to the Channel, our aim is to help our Partners achieve their revenue goals in 2012 and beyond,’ added Andrew.

Zen’s new 1,350 sq metre Tier 2 data centre facility is monitored around the clock by automated management systems, an onsite central monitoring team, CCTV and onsite security guards. The data centre is also fitted out with state of the art power and environmental management infrastructure providing 2MVA capacity.

N+1 standby power generation and uninterruptible power is supplied by Diesel Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supplies (DRUPS) ensuring Zen’s Hosting customers will get 100% uptime from their hosted services. Even the most demanding connectivity and bandwidth requirements will be easily accommodated as the new data centre is directly connected to Zen’s fully diverse core network.

Zen is no longer just an ISP and data centre provider, it is now recognised as a provider of quality Voice

services. Zen’s Business Voice Portfolio, together with its Connectivity products, provides a one stop shop for lines, calls and data services, for businesses of all sizes.

The Portfolio includes single line services, Home Talk and Business Talk, offering a complete solution of telephone line and calls - all on a monthly contract and the perfect partner to Zen’s Fibre Optic and DSL Broadband.

In response to customer demand, Zen has also launched its ISDN service which is offered on a 12 month contract, with no call connection fees, or minimum call spend; just highly competitive call rates. As well as high quality voice communications, Zen’s ISDN can also be used for fast data transfer and video conferencing.

Zen’s ISDN services can be used in parallel with its SIP Trunking solution, Business Talk SIP, giving customers a clear migration path to IP telephony when the time is right for them.

Zen’s Business Talk SIP is designed for businesses wanting to reduce costs and improve business communications and is an ideal value added service delivering a combined voice, data and internet solution.
