Zen Internet gains ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance certification

Zen Internet, the Internet Service Providers (ISPs), has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance certification.

Following a year long process Zen has now been awarded the internationally recognised quality management standard, ISO 9001:2008. This means that all its business processes have been externally audited and measured against best practise.

Two of the fundamental principles of the ISO certification are a focus on customers – understanding their requirements and exceeding their expectations – and continual review and improvement of everything a business does. It is for these reasons that Zen chose to pursue this certification.

Working in a way that meets ISO 9001:2008 standards has had a significant and positive impact on the way Zen’s works, the way it manages its continual improvement and the way in which it evaluates the positive impact of these improvements with the main beneficiaries of these improvements being its customers.

Andrew Saunders, Head of Product Management and Marketing comments ‘As part of the certification process, we have had to challenge our approach to everything we do and I believe we have emerged as a far more flexible and agile business. This will lead to a far better experience for our customers – the ultimate goal of the certification process.’

‘Zen Internet is always looking to improve how we run our business to ensure we are meeting our mission ‘to provide the best ISP service in the UK’. This certification builds on us achieving ISO 14001:2004 in September 2009 for our environmental management system’ added Saunders.
