Zen Launches Multi-site IP VPN Solution

Zen Internet has launched an IP VPN Wide Area Networking solution to meet the requirements of multi-site business customers.

Zen say their IP VPN offers a secure, reliable and cost effective way for organisations looking to connect offices, remote workers and partners. It provides complete security for data in transit and ensures that remote sites and employees have access to business critical applications and information.

Customers can access a dedicated IP VPN using Zen’s award winning connectivity services including ADSL broadband, SDSL or ZenDirect leased circuits. These private circuits offer advanced protection from external threats as they cannot be directly reached from the public Internet. Internet access to the IP VPN can also be included and is secured by a Managed Fortigate UTM firewall providing robust internet security for all participating sites.

“Zen have been implementing and managing Wide Area Networks for over 7 years and already have a number of IP VPN customers that have built their WAN on Zen’s IP infrastructure,” says Justin Barritt, Product Manager at Zen Internet.

“Following recent network advancements, including deployment of MPLS across our core network and the introduction of our business Class of Service model, we are in a position to offer these services to the wider market.”

He continues: “Implementing a Zen IP VPN solution will deliver security, performance and reliability benefits whilst providing a future-proof platform for converging voice and data networks. Our team of experienced network engineers can design and implement robust IP networks that deliver substantial productivity benefits whilst reducing the burden of complex network planning and management.”

The launch of Zen IP VPN means the ZenDirect Private WAN product will re-name as ZenDirect Private Line. This product re-positions as a single dedicated site-to-site link between two sites and can be incorporated into a Zen IP VPN for additional network resiliency.
