Zycko has announced the signing of mobile data protection and data loss prevention company, ExactTrak, to its vendor solution portfolio.
ExactTrak’s comprehensive portfolio of patented mobile data protection products have been designed to meet the growing need for data security and asset recovery for remote and mobile users. The increase in use of mobile and USB devices along with high profile cases of data and device loss has caused growing concern amongst businesses and consumers alike. Recent changes to the law mean that organisations now face significant fines if they fail to adequately protect sensitive details and information.
Security Guardian from ExactTrak offers a futuristic solution to this ‘mission-impossible’. Developed in conjunction with the UK MOD, Home Office, businesses and hardware manufacturers, ExactTrak secure USB device utilises the latest technology to encrypt, GPS track and even remotely destroy sensitive data in the event of a security breach or loss.
Zycko’s Group Technical Director, Rob Clark said: “Recent high profile reports of lost or stolen data from mobile devices, across a number of different industries, provides a strong reminder of the detrimental impact of data loss from both a financial and reputational perspective. ExactTrak’s Security Guardian product is the only mobile device that allows the tracking and destruction of mobile data remotely. ExactTrak is an exciting addition to Zycko’s growing security and protection solution that monitors, prevents and mitigates the risk of data loss.”
The unique Security Guardian solution offers a centralised management console, enabling users to manage multiple USB devices on the move but without them having to be attached to a laptop or PC. The devices can be tracked across the globe, movements reported, and if the device is compromised it can be switched off…or destroyed at the touch of a button.
Commenting on the new relationship, Simon Cuthbert, Sales & Marketing Director at ExactTrak commented, “We are pleased to partner with Zycko to expand our sales channel. Zycko was the obvious choice for ExactTrak due to its proven expertise in selling managed services, and strong track record in taking next generation technologies that solve real business challenges to market. We look forward to the growth and opportunities that this relationship will bring to both companies.”
