Eclipse has selected ZyXEL’s routers after undertaking extensive research with customers followed by a thorough evaluation of available options. Eclipse is now providing the ZyXEL AMG1202-T10A router and the ZyXEL NBG4604 as part of its hardware portfolio.
Tom Ward-Scammell, Senior Technical Support Analyst at Eclipse, explains why the ZyXEL routers were chosen. “We are always looking to enhance and improve our services and we constantly take feedback from customers and try to find ways in which we can improve and enhance the service we deliver to them. Early last year, we decided to look at refreshing the routers we offered as part of our broadband packages. We evaluated around 30 routers and ZyXEL were one of the partners that came out on top due to their versatility and good all-round features. The wireless performance is strong and consistent and they are extremely reliable.”
In particular, Eclipse was impressed with the strong wireless signal delivered by the ZyXEL routers over an extended range and the ease with which they can be set-up and used therefore supporting the business in delivering the best in customer experience. The strong wireless functionality of the routers, such as the ability to pre-program wireless capability to be turned on and off at certain times of the day, was also important to provide customers with the flexibility to control periods of use.
