By providing the high levels of control and Quality of Service needed to deploy applications and services that are dependent on consistent bandwidth and performance, such as voice, video and cloud-based services, across the network, ZyXEL 1910 Series will give ZyXEL’s reseller partners a competitive edge in the switching market.
The range offers features normally found only on enterprise-class full-managed switches, including SNMP support, 1GB Ethernet across the range, high power over Ethernet and 10GB options. There are both 24- and 48-port versions with PoE and stackable models. This makes the 1910 series ideal for SMB and mid-market companies looking to deploy unified communications, hosted services and IP telephony and IP surveillance solutions.

There are six models in the 1910 Series; the GS1910-24 and GS1910-48, which offers Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and a comprehensive range of Layer 2 management features, including support for QoS and VLANs, web-based network, security and power management, and IPv6 compatibility. The GS1910-24HP and GS1910-48HP provide high-powered PoE support, making them ideal for the deployment of extensive IP-based telephony and surveillance solutions and edge wireless LAN deployments. The XGS1910-24 and XGS1910-48 provide stackable options with two or four 10GbE ports for uplinks respectively.
All the switches are compliant with the IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet standard and configurable low-power modes that can be used to reduce power consumption by up to 70 per cent.
