DTEN to certify devices for Microsoft Teams

DTEN, a conferencing solution vendor, has announced its intention to pursue Certified for Microsoft Teams designation on its most-popular collaboration devices.

Certification for Microsoft Teams will help DTEN to meet demand for immersive video conferencing resources by simplifying integration for the 270 million Microsoft Teams users worldwide.

DTEN is currently in the process of pursuing Microsoft Teams certification for the upcoming DTEN D7X, an all-in-one device for Teams Rooms on Android. The company will also seek certification for Teams Rooms on Windows, as well as for Teams display devices.

Wei Liu, founder and CEO, DTEN, explained, “As [our] solutions are increasingly more recognised in the marketplace, demand has steadily grown for cross-platform solutions.

“To better serve our customers and advance solutions for the hybrid workplace, we are entering the process to certify select DTEN devices for Microsoft Teams.”

Speaking to Comms Business, Scott Krueckeberg, head of strategic alliances at DTEN, explained what this means for resellers and MSPs. He said, “This brings more value to our current channel partners, as well as introducing us to brand new channel partners who [currently offer solutions within] the Teams ecosystem.

“What this does for our channel partners is it gives them more firepower around the DTEN brand, and more opportunities to place a DTEN device in a full suite of solutions for their customers. Instead of having to recommend a different brand for a Teams Room, now they have one rock solid presentation to their customers that involves a single vendor that can maintain both platforms.”
