Focus Group has announced the acquisition of Voice Connect, a specialist in telecommunications, NHS systems integration and self-serve automation.
This acquisition aims to enhance Focus Group’s healthcare technology portfolio and solidify its position as one of the largest primary care telephony suppliers in the UK.
The two companies said they have closely collaborated for 18 months and have a shared vision to support the health and care sector through complementary technologies.
The merger will combine Focus Group’s sales capabilities with Voice Connect’s product expertise, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven healthcare solutions.

Voice Connect’s solutions include Patient Partner, a telephony solution that enables patients to have 24/7 contact with their medical practice. Focus Group said this will complement its existing cloud telephony and contact centre solutions, which are delivered through its Think Healthcare division.
The companies have already been working together to deliver Virtual Care Navigator, an advanced and flexible automated patient service solution, to primary care providers.
