Gamma acquires EnableX Group

Gamma Communications has announced the acquisition of the EnableX Group.

EnableX comprises three channel businesses - Pragma, Techland and Candio. It provides resellers with access to new opportunities within multiple technology areas, including in cloud communications.

Will Morey, chief executive officer of EnableX, said, “It is clear how the portfolio we have fits into Gamma’s strategy for growth and leadership in the UCaaS space. Bringing these businesses together will help us both bring additional value to the channel.’’

Daryl Pile, managing director at Gamma Business, said, “This acquisition significantly expands our channel portfolio providing greater opportunities for our partners to accelerate their growth. We are proud to work alongside them and the partnership that they have forged with one of the leading business communications vendors, Ericsson-LG Enterprise.

“The most striking element throughout the process has been the close cultural alignment of EnableX and Gamma, both built on openness, loyalty and trust – we can’t wait to get started.”

Patrick Johansson, chief executive officer at Ericsson-LG Enterprise, said, “Our journey in the UK market with the iPECS Unified Communications portfolio which includes iPECS Cloud has been a tremendous success and we are looking forward to continuing that success in partnership with Gamma.”

Knight Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of EnableX. The transaction was led by Paul Billingham, with the support of Chris Collins and Jacob Pattison.

Paul Billingham, director, Knight Corporate Finance, added, “We have worked with EnableX previously, having advised on the merger between Pragma and Techland in 2022 to form the enlarged business.

“Whilst the shareholders were not looking for an exit this soon after the merger, they had an approach that led them to consider their strategic options and appointed Knight. We worked with the shareholders to ensure that all options were considered and are delighted to have completed the transaction with Gamma.”
