MLL Telecom has appointed Gary Marven in the role of CEO, replacing Eddie Minshull who will remain with the company as advisor. Marven joined the company in 2009 as COO. Previously Marven was program director for the digital media initiative at the BBC.

‘The telecoms market is changing rapidly and its vital that we continue to maintain close relationships with our customers and listen to their requirements to ensure that we are always adding value to their businesses, ’’ said Marven. ‘MLL Telecom has a strong heritage in engineering and design expertise and we will continue to invest in technology, systems and people to ensure that we remain at the forefront of new developments that are affecting our customers, such as LTE/4G.

‘MLL Telecom is a licenced code operator which delivers network solutions into both the public sector and the mobile operators utilising both fixed line and radio technology. As an agile and technology agnostic organisation, we can deliver the appropriate network solution, cost effectively and within short timescales. Our suite of in-house services from design, installation, network operations centre, field maintenance engineer team and in-house site acquisition team, means that MLL Telecom is also well placed to partner major telecom providers,’ continued Marven.

The company is also continuing to invest in both people and internal systems. Most recently the company has been awarded ISO27001 security accreditation, making MLL Telecom one of only 550 companies in the UK who have been awarded this status.

Eddie Minshull will remain close to the business in an advisory role, evaluating markets and potential partnerships for the company. Minshull will also remain close to key customers in a strategic role.
