Enterprise cloud data management leader Informatica has announced some key programme enhancements, aiming to support partners in delivering cloud-first, digital transformation to customers.
Paired with its Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) iPaaS platform, the enhancements aim to strengthen Informatica’s position and drive success while helping customers to “address the challenges of a modern enterprise”.
The three key initiatives revealed this week are:
- Applications and services that support cloud-first, cloud-native and vendor-neutral strategies across all cloud providers — low-code/zero code application development with a modular drag-and-drop interface driven by business processes allowing users to stand up non-siloed business applications quickly. Reusable vendor-neutral code has built-in data governance, privacy and cataloging powered by CLAIRE, Informatica’s AI/ML engine
- Consumption-based pricing to enable a phased approach to customers’ cloud journey
- Training and certification in enterprise cloud data management to enable partners to help customers become cloud-first businesses with faster time to value
“As a cloud-first, cloud-native company we need to make sure we are able to respond to the customers’ request to consume our technology and pay per consumption,” Aslam Jamal, Informatica’s VP of channels for EMEA and LATAM told Comms Business. “Customers are either trying to go all-in to the cloud, take it step-by-step or burst into the cloud whenever the business dictated, and this model is a great tool for the partners by providing the right solutions in the right consumption approach.”
Since the launch of the training series in September last year, 9,000+ partners have completed the no-cost Foundation Level Certification 100 series. Jamal adds that this has been a major achievement for Informatica, commenting: “This gives us the reassurance that as companies are shifting so quickly to a digital and cloud-first world, we have with our partner landscape the right resources to help them [on] that journey with our support.”
This week, Informatica hosted its global partner summit, Elevate, which involved the announcement of its Channel Partner Award winners, shown below.
The awards recognise performance of partners who drive projects which not only help clients to migrate to the cloud, Jamal explained, but that also help the client to recognise the business value in doing so. “That goes from being able to have better analytics in the cloud, to having a 360-degree view of their customers, their assets, supply chain and finance… all the way through to running appropriate data governance and privacy across that journey,” he said.
