Lenovo appoints new channel VP

Ralf Jordan has joined Lenovo as vice president, EMEA channel. Jordan will sit on the EMEA leadership team and will report directly to Francois Bornibus, the company’s EMEA president.

Jordan joins Lenovo from Dell Technologies following a ten-year stint at the company. Most recently, he led Dell Technologies’ distribution GTM for EMEA.

Prior to that, Jordan worked for Lenovo as vice president for emerging markets EMEA, covering Central-and Eastern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa.

Ralf Jordan, vice president, channel, EMEA, Lenovo, explained, “I’m delighted to be re-joining Lenovo. Over the past ten years I’ve followed Lenovo’s impressive growth, transformation and success in the market and am inspired to play my part in taking our EMEA channel business to the next level.

“I see incredible opportunity for Lenovo to capitalise on its strengths and success and to further extend its leadership in the market though a truly unified channel approach. It feels like going back to my first love.”

Jordan began his career in 1992 with IBM as a systems engineer before moving into sales. He held several national and international sales leadership roles within IBM and Lenovo.

In his new role, he will be based in Dusseldorf and will focus on expanding Lenovo’s EMEA channel business across the company’s entire portfolio.

That will include pushing forward Lenovo’s 360 framework to build links between the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG), the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and the Solutions and Services Group (SSG).
