Market leader Micro-P was attracted to Outsourcery as it felt the Cloud Service Provider would add significant value to its extensive partner and dealer network. The partnership has obvious benefits for both organisations and Micro-P can now offer a one-stop-shop including hardware, hosted software and the latest unified communications (UC) products in a bundled package all underpinned by its established partners.
Initially, Outsourcery will be providing Micro-P resellers with Outsourcery Unified Lync and Microsoft Hosted Exchange as part of a bundled offering which will be made available to the end user with full customer service and support through Micro-P’s partner and dealer network. The expanded product and service offering will drive growth and sales for both Outsourcery and Micro-P, with successful resellers gaining a percentage of the ongoing revenue.
Simon Howitt, Channel Business Unit Director for Outsourcery said, “We are delighted that Micro-P has been attracted to the InPartnership Programme, as its credentials in the reseller area are second to none. We have received a tremendous response since launching the Programme and by reaching agreement with Micro-P, an opportunity has been created to expand Outsourcery’s market penetration and enhance Micro-P’s proposition by working closely together. This partnership is an indicator of the continuing progress and innovation Outsourcery is bringing to cloud and unified communications solutions.”
Gerry O’Keefe, Managing Director of Micro-P said, “This partnership is a great opportunity to deliver real growth for both Micro-P and Outsourcery. The extended offering and the combination of these solutions along with Outsourcery’s expertise in service provision, offers business customers a unique opportunity to enhance the productivity and responsiveness of their workforce and drive real profitability.”
Unified Lync offers a simple and effective way to empower real time communication in business. Some of the key features of Unified Lync include instant messaging, presence and voice and web conferencing, and it integrates fully with existing Microsoft software and applications to ensure rapid user adoption.
Howitt continued, “This collaboration is amongst the first of a number of agreements that we expect to announce. We are in advanced discussions with other potential strategic partners and expect to have further news on this front in the coming weeks and months.”
