Netskope reveals rapid UK channel growth

Netskope has released details of rapid growth in its UK partner ecosystem following the introduction of new benefits, incentives and programme opportunities.

The Security Service Edge (SSE) and Zero Trust specialist’s UK net new channel sales grew by 251 per cent between February 2021 and January 2022, outstripping Gartner predictions for 19-21 per cent YOY growth in the SSE market growth and demonstrating a rapid increase in demand for cloud native security solutions. Partner Accreditations & Certifications increased 78 per cent YOY.

Netskope is also investing in expanding its UK presence with its in-market team growing nearly a third in 2021 to support customer, partner and market demand. The UK team is now 87-strong, with many roles working internationally.

“We have seen significant demand for Netskope from our partner community across the region,” said Gerard Allison, SVP, Exclusive Networks. “It’s rare for a vendor’s vision and technology to drive the market, but analysts at 650 Group forecast that the SASE market will grow by 500 per cent between 2020 and 2025, and Netskope has the most complete SASE and Zero Trust platform in the market. This growth opportunity is exactly what our partners want us to help them capitalise on.”

In 2019, Gartner recommended Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) as a new approach to cloud-native security. The new umbrella field covers many existing cloud security products including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Next Generation Secure Web Gateway (NG-SWG) and more.

Michael Herman, Netskope’s VP channel sales, EMEA/LATAM said that in addition to the 251 per cent increase in new UK customer wins, upgrade and add-on business also grew at 474 per cent.

“This second stat is great news for our partners because often customers start with one of the core pillars of SSE, such as ZTNA or CASB, and then it is an easy path to implement other components in the stack,” he said in a statement.
