Nortel Appoints Mario DiMascio as Vice President Enterprise Sales

Nortel has announced the appointment of Mario DiMascio as vice president enterprise sales. DiMascio will lead and set strategic direction for Nortel’s direct sales team in the UK. In this role, he will be responsible for building revenue through driving further awareness of Nortel solutions in end user communities and increasing the company’s vertical focus. DiMascio will be based at the company’s EMEA headquarters in Maidenhead.

With more than 18 years of strategic sales management and international business development experience in the networking industry, DiMascio has succeeded in both start up and multi-billion dollar companies. He has honed his skills in roles including head of sales & marketing, regional manager (Scotland), sales director voice products and channel sales director.

DiMascio joins Nortel from 3Com where his most recent position was director of system sales UK & Ireland. Prior to this, Mario was European sales director for Servecast, a media streaming company, and previously to that he worked as general manager for NetQuotient, an eCommerce start up company in Europe.
