NTA unveils improved MobeX softphone

NTA has upgraded MobeX, a UC softphone solution, with a rebuilt mobile app and new user interface.

The new version of MobeX has been beta tested with a group of partners and NTA’s licensing structure means that all users will now receive the latest update at no extra cost. A single license per user grants access to the updated web softphone and mobile application.

MobeX can be white-labelled so partners can position the softphone as their own with no connection or dual-branding related to NTA.

Kevin Burns, project manager, NTA, said, “We have experienced an increased demand for more digital communication solutions. There’s been a huge shift since the start of the pandemic in the way consumers communicate and it’s time providers respond to this with advanced solutions.

“MobeX has seen a number of changes over the years to keep up with partner demands and we are only getting started. We plan on expanding on MobeX tenfold with more advanced features to satisfy consumer needs.”

New features available for the MobeX softphone include video conferencing (either 1-1 or multiple user meetings), chat (this allows users to collaborate with instant messaging and web browser chat pop ups), multi-screen sharing, a streamlined user interface, and new collaboration features.

The revamped softphone has been updated by NTAs in-house development team.
