Onecom Group and Vodafone ink new five-year deal

Onecom Group has announced it has entered into a new five-year strategic partnership agreement with Vodafone to deliver solutions including mobile airtime, 5G, IoT, and digital connectivity.

This latest agreement is the largest partner agreement of this type entered by Vodafone. The two companies have partnered since 2002, with Onecom consistently recognised as Vodafone’s “Strategic Partner of the Year” since the award’s creation 13 years ago. Onecom was also recognised as the “Innovation Partner of the Year” at the award’s inception.

This latest agreement reinforces the longstanding partnership, with the ongoing management of over 400,000 existing business mobile users as well as the addition of a diverse range of connectivity options including SIP, FTTP, SoGEA, and IoT solutions.
Services are delivered directly and, also since 2021, through Onecom Partners’ 400-strong channel resellers.

Martin Flick, chief executive, Onecom Group (pictured), said, “Vodafone and Onecom have an unrivalled pedigree in delivering communication solutions to diverse UK-headquartered organisations.

“As we look forward to the future and anticipate the opportunities the fourth industrial revolution presents, our renewed strategic partnership together brings boundless possibilities for our customers and channel partners alike whilst opening up access to new markets and sectors and widening our geographic footprint across the UK.”

Kathryn Platt, head of indirect business, Vodafone, added, “Bringing the energy, alignment, connectivity pedigree, and experience we have developed together, we are delighted to renew our partnership with Onecom for an unprecedented five years.

“This long-term partnership further cements our commitment to providing best-in-class solutions together so we can ensure customers are in the best position possible to achieve their business goals and extend our reach and penetration into the market.”
