Orange has announced a range of new home broadband price plans. The move is the first in a home broadband evolution roadmap planned for the service over the next 18 months under newly appointed vice president of home, Bruno Duarte.

Spread across three price plans, the new packages make it simple for UK consumers to choose a home broadband package that’s right for them, and rewards Orange mobile customers with the best value for their loyalty.

From last Friday, the following three home broadband packages will be available from Orange: Broadband & Off Peak Calls - For just £7.50 per month, Orange mobile customers will receive up to 20Meg speeds and inclusive evening and weekend landline calls, ideal for those who are away during the day and have limited need to use the home phone before 6pm; Broadband & Anytime Calls - For just £10 per month, Orange mobile customers will receive up to 20Meg speeds on their home broadband and inclusive anytime landline calls, offering the best value bundle on the market; Simply Broadband - For customers who just want to take advantage of Orange’s up to 20Meg wireless broadband, then Simply Broadband is only £10 per month.

Customers taking Orange’s Broadband & Off Peak Calls or Broadband & Anytime Calls packages, can also benefit from unlimited international landline calls to over 30 countries for only an extra £4 per month.

Additionally, Orange has also introduced a new peace of mind promise for hassle free set up, promising all new customers will be up and running within 10 working days, and if they’re not, they can end their contract within the month without any charge.

Duarte commented: “We’re rewarding our existing mobile customers by giving them the UK’s best value home broadband on the market. When combined with the network and service improvements we’ve already made, and the plans to evolve our service over the next 18 months, there’s never been a better time to be on Orange.”

The move follows news earlier this year to significantly change how Orange delivers home broadband in the UK, as well as a range of new improvements made to enhance the customer experience. As a result, Orange’s home broadband service has already been short listed in three categories at this year’s Top 10 Broadband Awards, which includes the award for Best Value Home Broadband.

Non Orange mobile customers can also benefit from the great new plans from just an extra £5 per month.
