Orbital10 adds fifth acquisition in two years

MSPs
MSP Orbital10 has acquired Yeovil-based cybersecurity and IT support firm MCS Computer Support.

The move will enhance its first, second and third line support, further expanding its cybersecurity capabilities and extending its geographical coverage in the south west.

This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in the growth and expansion of Orbital10. It is the fifth acquisition in the last two years, following the previous acquisitions of PC Logix IT services, Tantra Apple Mac services, Think Rethink printer services and Geek Guru IT and cybersecurity services.

The acquisition will leverage the strengths of the group in delivering tailored IT services, as well as furthering the group’s dual-growth strategy: to grow the customer base through the provision and support of the complete suite of technology; and acquire or merge additional businesses into the group.

“We are continuing to introduce additional services so customers can have one point of contact for all their technical issues and requirements, acting as a technology partner not just a supplier,” said Mark Salvin, CEO of Orbital10. “Different technologies require specialist knowledge as well as evolving, resilient security measures to ensure businesses remain protected and compliant. Each acquisition has delivered these expanded services and cybersecurity capabilities as well as expanding service delivery scales.”

He added, “The latest acquisitions provide extensive cross-selling opportunities as well as new business sales. We are already in talks with new potential acquisition opportunities, but we are keen to talk to more business owners who are thinking about an exit strategy.”
