Rydal Group partners with Giacom

Rydal Group has selected Giacom as its wholesale supplier for mobile solutions.

Rydal chose Giacom following an extensive review of its mobile services and requirements and made its decision based on the company’s offerings, expertise, and range of self-service options.

Rydal was founded in 2008 by Steffan Dancy and provides communications, managed IT, security and energy. The company recently embarked on a strategy to develop its customer base through acquisition.

This has resulted in the acquisition of Black Bear IT Solutions as well as the business communications client bases of NDG Technology, BrokenStones and Krypton IT.

Steffan Dancy, managing director, Rydal, said, “We’ve been really impressed with the strong relationship built with Giacom. The growth and the development of its mobile products, in addition to other services in its portfolio, aligns perfectly with our own plans for growth.

“The proposition offered by Giacom enhances the commercial viability of our buy and build strategy, enabling us to effectively scale up mobile operations as we continue to grow. The quoting and provisioning tools available in Giacom’s platform will also provide unparalleled control over our services.”

Andrew Wilford, manging director, mobile, Giacom (pictured), added, “Rydal Group is a valued partner of Giacom’s, so we’re very pleased to have forged this long-term, strategic partnership with them. Rydal is one of Giacom’s fastest growing and most successful managed services partners because it has a clear, differentiated value proposition.

“It helps its customers to get real advantage from technology investment by providing simple, reliable technology solutions from one place, reducing stress and saving money. A high-quality mobile provision is a core part of this value, and we are delighted to be able to support them on this journey.

“We’ve put a framework in place that will enable Steffan and his team to grow the business quickly and without restraint, making it easy for Rydal to consolidate with us.”
