SafeWeb was launched in May 2022 and scans the dark web based on a customer’s domain, highlighting any usernames, passwords, and payment information that is available.
This information provides customers with a monthly report to provide advice and guidance on the recommended next steps.
Tom Chedham, business development manager, Candio, explained, “The rapid growth of SafeWeb shows the interest that there is in cybersecurity at the moment. I don’t think SME businesses really understand cybersecurity and it’s our job as a provider to help our partners educate them.
“SafeWeb is an extremely simple way of doing that, it instantly shows a customer what is wrong and what they need to do to fix it.”
Candio said over 90 per cent of the 10,000 subscribers were found to have data on the dark web. As such, SafeWeb has allowed these businesses to understand what their presence is on the dark web and how to fix it.
