SCC snaps up Vohkus

SCC has announced it has acquired Vohkus for an undisclosed sum.

Vohkus is an IT reseller based in Fareham. Since it was established in 2001, the team has grown to 160 employees with an annual turnover of £100m.

Frank O’Leary, co-founder of Vohkus, and his management team will continue to guide the business day-to-day. O’Leary’s team includes Lance Forster, sales director, Ian Hounsome, vendor alliances director, and Graham Gaut, solutions and services director.

Ritchie Sharma, the company’s other co-founder, will retire from the company.

SCC said the represents an opportunity “to scale its presence in the country and to bring its broad range of product and services offerings to Vohkus customers”.
