Sylantro Gets New CEO

Sylantro Systems, best known in the UK as the vendor behind the Reading based hosted telephony supplier AlwaysOn, has named Marco Limena president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Limena, former vice president of Hewlett Packard’s multi-billion dollar Network and Service Provider Solution business, assumes the role from Sylantro president and CEO Pete Bonee, who now serves as Sylantro’s chairman.

Limena joins Sylantro with extensive international communications and business management experience, having spent more than 14 years at HP where he had global responsibility for HP’s Network and Service Provider Solution business and focused on serving key telecom operators, equipment manufacturers and media companies. Under his leadership HP experienced global success with innovative solutions in the network domain, next generation OSS, service delivery and content distribution platforms.
