Tech Data wins dual Veeam awards

Tech Data was named Distribution Partner of the Year for second year running and the Aggregator of the Year at Veeam’s UK Partner Summit.

Both accolades reflect the continued investment by Tech Data and the great work being done by its specialist team. Tech Data grew its Veeam sales through partners last year by around a third, an achievement it connects to its continued investment in resources, new automated processes and an enhanced an software store.

Matt Child, managing director, Advanced Solutions, UK and Ireland at Tech Data (pictured), said, “This is a great acknowledgement of the hard work and positive, can-do attitude of the whole Veeam team at Tech Data. Over the past year, we have really helped partners to position Veeam solutions and migrate customers successfully to the cloud. “Our enhanced Software Store is helping more partners to maximise licensing renewals and our Click to Run solutions – for Veeam Cloud Connect, Veeam Backup & Replication™, and Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 – have provided partners with ready-made Azure-based cloud offerings to take to market. We have also invested in training our technical team and can offer Veeam-accredited professional services, giving partners added resource to call on when they need to – and this is a part of the business that is growing really fast now.”
