Voicenet Secures Hosting Contract with MS Society

Voicenet Solutions has been appointed to supply and install a hosted telephony solution for the MS Society, one of the UK’s largest and best known charities. The solution will be implemented across the charity’s four regional headquarters in the UK with the view to extend to all 350 of the MS Society’s local branches.

Voicenet Solutions is providing the all in one VoIP package - VNcomplete, a fully hosted solution with built-in Quality of Service and supported by Cisco hardware. A VoIP Contact solution is also due to be installed in early 2009.

Voicenet Solutions offered specific one-to-one training to the MS Society’s many home based employees who have MS. This, together with the cost efficiencies and flexibility, was a key factor to being appointed as the preferred communications supplier.

The new solution will give the MS Society greater control and flexibility when dealing with calls as well as the opportunity of bringing the whole business operation, including home based employees, onto one single communications network.

Voicenet Solutions also oversaw the implementation of an MPLS data network so as to share information via voice, data and ultimately video conferencing throughout the four main nations of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Furthermore many regional meetings would be held at any one of the regional offices. Having a more enhanced communications solution cuts down airfares and the company’s carbon footprint.
