Brigantia, the UK cybersecurity distributor, has announced its acquisition by pan-European distributor Elovade.
Iain Shaw, founder of Brigantia, and Martin Wright, the company’s chairman, will exit the business. The company will initially continue to run under the Brigantia name and Brigantia will retain its existing vendor portfolio.
Angus Shaw, managing director of Brigantia (pictured right), will assume the role of managing director for Elovade’s business in the UK and Ireland, retaining control of operations in the region.
Elovade was formerly known as Ebertlang (until June 2024) and this acquisition marks the company’s first entry into the UK market. This is Elovade’s eighth and largest acquisition to date, designed to complement its presence in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Nordics and Italy.
