Channel Live prepares for 2024

MA Exhibitions, the organiser of Channel Live, has announced a new team structure in preparation for the 2024 edition of the UK’s largest telecoms and IT channel event.

Phil Glover, who has worked on the event for over five years, has been promoted to exhibition manager. Glover (pictured above, left) will continue to oversee the marketing campaign alongside new responsibilities as exhibition manager.

Dr Jane Watson (pictured above, right) has been appointed conference producer. She will research and produce the conference, as well as overseeing the advisory board. A new sales team of four will be led by sales director Jessica Szuts-Naranjo (pictured above, centre), with Sam Carter, Ayo Bamidele and Freddie Slendebroek.

Phil Glover, exhibition manager, Channel Live, said, “Since being welcomed to Channel Live back in 2018 I have met many interesting characters and been inspired by the opportunities available to resellers and MSPs. It has been a joy to nurture the event out of the pandemic and back to the vibrant networking hub that we remember.

“I’m thrilled to see my role evolve into exhibition manager and look forward to continuing to evolve the show itself with a new team and new networking features. I’m delighted to introduce the Channel Live advisory board that will help us ensure we deliver the show that the sector deserves.”

The team are preparing for Channel Live 2024 after two years of steady growth, with 2023 visitor numbers now on par with 2018. This year’s edition featured the show’s busiest ever day one.

New features in 2024 will include a one-to-one meetings tool, where exhibitors will be able to browse the attendee list before, during and after the event to maximise networking opportunities. Visitors can use the tool to connect with exhibitors, grow their network, exchange ideas, and plan those all-important in-person meetings.

There will also be the addition of Tech Tours. These will bring visitors with specific areas of interest directly to multiple themed stands and provide exhibitors an added opportunity to be highlighted as they demonstrate new products and connect with relevant visitors.

To fully meet the needs of this sector, Channel Live has also invited select industry experts to join the Channel Live Advisory Board for the 2024 event. The board will give strategic level input during the development of the event, ensuring the event offers maximum value and relevance to visitors and exhibitors.

Channel Live 2024 will be held on the 20th to 21st March at the NEC in Birmingham.
