CityFibre rolls out full fibre network to more than 100,000 residents

CityFibre has announced that it has rolled out access to its full fibre network for more than 100,000 residents across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

Homes across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have been designated Ready For Service, which means residents can now connect to the best available digital connectivity once live in their area.

Adrian Smith, CityFibre’s partnership manager for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, said, "It's a pleasure to be able to provide the people of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole all the benefits full fibre connectivity has to offer. We would like to thank residents for their patience as we have rolled out this essential digital infrastructure. From here, we hope to see more people in the area unlock seamless homeworking, streaming and learning."

In Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole customers can already connect to the new network and use full fibre-enabled broadband from a choice of providers, including UK launch partner, Vodafone on selected Vodafone Pro Broadband plans, TalkTalk, IDNet, Giganet and Zen. Other providers are expected to join the network soon.
