Onecom Partners: new name for 9 Group’s partner business

9 Partners has unveiled a new brand identity – Onecom Partners – as the company looks to channel growth with new products and services for partners.

The new branding comes a year after 9 Group was acquired by Onecom Group. The company said the new brand represents a combination of the channel experience that exists within Onecom Partners and the scale and expertise of the wider Onecom Group.

Adam Cathcart, managing director, Onecom Partners (pictured), said, “We are excited to launch our new brand which proudly underlines the partner benefits unlocked through last year’s acquisition by Onecom.

“Onecom Partners is ideally placed to lead and innovate in the channel space. Strengthened by the scale of Onecom Group with access to commercially aggressive propositions, our partners are empowered to grow their revenues, increase margins, and succeed together through our partnership.”

Onecom Partners has strengthened its relationship with key suppliers, including Vodafone and BT Wholesale, to enable partners to access a wider range of services.

This includes the two key elements. Firstly, a revived strategic partnership with Vodafone which includes wholesale and distribution of mobile airtime, SIP, connectivity, IoT and 5G offerings. Secondly, the partner business has expanded its partnership with BT Wholesale and recently launched BT’s WHC (Wholesale Hosted Communications) IP telephony offering.

Onecom Partners will continue to trade as a separate entity within the Onecom Group with independent partner portals, systems, and supplier agreements.

In addition, Onecom Partners will host a launch event on Thursday 8th September at The Vodafone Pavilion at Vodafone’s Newbury HQ. This will provide an introduction to the new brand and expanded portfolio.
