Sangoma has announced the appointment of Charles Salameh as chief executive officer and Jeremy Wubs as its first chief operating officer.

Salameh (pictured) joins Sangoma from Infosys where, as global head of account expansion, he was responsible for driving revenue growth and expansion across its $18 billion business. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at Bell Canada, Nortel Networks, HP and DXC.

The announcement of Wubs as the company’s new COO comes shortly after Salameh joined the company on September 1st. These two key executive appointments in a short period of time reflect Sangoma’s continued dedication to driving revenue and focus on operational efficiency.

Wubs joins Sangoma with over 20 years of experience in the industry and a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing and growing both established and emerging product lines, catering to the small, medium, and enterprise segments.

In his role as a former executive at Bell Business Markets, Bell Canada, Wubs managed a multibillion-dollar P&L. As senior vice-president of product, marketing and professional services he was responsible for wireline and wireless products and services across voice, collaboration, contact centre, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity and IoT.

Charles Salameh, CEO, Sangoma, said, “I am thrilled to join the Sangoma team as the new CEO. Sangoma has built an impressive reputation in the industry, and I am eager to build upon its strong foundation and formidable solutions portfolio.

“Together with the talented employees at Sangoma and a vast partner ecosystem, we will continue to innovate and deliver cutting-edge solutions that empower businesses to operate efficiently and communicate effectively and seamlessly.”

Wubs commented, “I am very impressed by both the breadth and depth of the Sangoma portfolio; few companies have the assets to satisfy the broad communications needs of clients in today’s digital world. I’m excited to be part of the leadership team that will simplify and harness Sangoma’s complete range of products and services to unlock its full potential.”

Salameh added, “We are thrilled to welcome Jeremy to Sangoma as our first chief operating officer. His extensive experience, strategic vision, and exceptional leadership skills will undoubtedly play a crucial role in driving our company’s growth and success in the rapidly evolving cloud communications landscape.”

The other members of Sangoma’s senior leadership team are Nenad Corbic, chief technology officer, Jamie Minner, chief revenue officer, Samantha Reburn, general counsel corporate secretary, and Larry Stock, chief financial officer.
