TalkTalk Business continues to strengthen its position as the operator of the UK’s largest Next Generation Network (NGN) with a new partnership to provide C4L with EFM and Ethernet services.

In a move which adds depth to C4L’s leased line connectivity portfolio, the Tech Track Fast 100 company has chosen to partner with TalkTalk Business to benefit from the unrivalled reach of its NGN, with a programme underway to bring customers on to the network.

Following an investment of more than £600m and with more than 2,300 enabled exchanges online, TalkTalk Business’ NGN has the capacity to reach 93 per cent of the UK business population, providing cost effective, business grade connectivity for customers nationwide.

EFM is a brand new addition to C4L’s portfolio and the connectivity and data centre solutions provider will be pursuing an aggressive growth strategy over the next 12 months.

Delivered nationwide over a unique 10Gbps network, EFM provides an affordable route for customers looking for business grade connectivity with an attractive SLA but at a lower price point than fibre-based services and without the need for line installation.

Jon Selway, partner manager at C4L said: “We're delighted to be partnering with Talk Talk Business and looking forward to developing an ongoing relationship with them, whilst being able to offer our customers an extended portfolio of services. Within four weeks of announcing EFM lines to our customers we've connected 25 customer sites to the EFM network alone.

EFM lines provide a welcome balance between performance and cost, coupled with the wide spread availability of exchanges and potential to offer back up circuits. This is a key addition to our portfolio that we anticipate will continue to grow quickly.”

Lance Spencer, director of connectivity services at TalkTalk Business said: “We are pleased to welcome C4L into our partner family and look forward to a longstanding partnership together. This latest signing is testament to our ongoing investment in the TalkTalk’s NGN, which continues to prove itself as a unique asset within the connectivity space.”
