TelcoSwitch appoints new CEO

TelcoSwitch has announced it has appointed Howard Stevens as chief executive officer.

Stevens brings more than 20 years’ executive experience in multinational high-growth environments. During that time, he was senior vice president and global head of sales at SAP for eight years, developing telecoms into one of its top three fastest growth markets.

Most recently he was CEO of Vista Equity Partners-backed TOMIA, a roaming and inter-operator connectivity solution provider for global carriers. While there, he led the business to a successful acquisition by Lumine Group.

Stevens takes over from Matt Mansell, who oversaw the launch of TelcoSwitch’s CallSwitch One platform following the company’s acquisition by investor Queen’s Park Equity.

Mansell retains a place on the board of directors and will continue to oversee TelcoSwitch group’s technology strategy.

Stevens said, “TelcoSwitch is a hugely exciting business with a powerful next-generation communications platform in CallSwitch One. The platform is delivered via a loyal and growing partner base, on that I am excited to work with as we continue accelerating CallSwitch One’s adoption. The work undertaken by Matt and his team to deliver a market-leading product to the Channel; in CallSwitch One will drive our growth aspirations in the next stage of our business.”
