Bamboo snaps up TechTeam Limited

Bamboo Technology Group has announced its acquisition of TechTeam Limited, a provider of IT managed services, cloud and connectivity solutions. TechTeam will continue operating as normal as it integrates into the Bamboo group over the coming months.

TechTeam was established in 2006 in Worcestershire by founder and CEO, James Green. The company has expertise in the small to mid-market, and Bamboo said its values closely align with its own mission to improve business futures and people’s lives by realising the full potential of ICT.

This acquisition forms part of Bamboo’s growth strategy and will expand Bamboo’s expertise, customer base and regional MSP footprint, whilst supporting their focus on education and employment in the sector.

Bamboo acquired Tech Op Solutions in 2019 and, since then, has transitioned from a telecoms service specialist to an ICT managed services provider in the Southwest cyber and technology communities. The group’s niche software development capabilities have seen Bamboo awarded inclusion in the Crown Commercial Service’s Technology Services 3 Framework.
