Clutterbuck to Head Nine Networks

Gloucestershire based service provider, Nine Group, has announced the January launch of a new division, Nine Networks, to be headed up by ex Club Communications stalwart and current Nine Group Operations Director, Barnes Clutterbuck.

Following the acquisition of a data services business earlier in 2015, Nine has invested heavily to create their own state of the art data network, offering a complete portfolio of broadband and Ethernet services, which will be available for resellers to buy towards the end of Q1 2016. The newly formed Networks Division will also be the home for a brand new SIP and hosted IP Telephony offering that Nine Networks will be trialling in early 2016, ahead of a full launch in Q2 2016.

A fully revised and visually compelling ordering, provisioning and management portal will be a key element of the new product portfolio and will ensure that Nine’s resellers can provide customers with an unbeatable level of service. Nine has invested heavily in software development throughout 2015 to ensure that resellers will have an intuitive and simple interface for all the information they require to grow and manage their own customer base.

Commenting on his new appointment, Clutterbuck enthused, “the launch of Nine Networks is a major step for our Group and represents a key step in our transformation from a good business to a great one. Being in control of our own network portfolio, rather than buying from other players, will help to improve both the commercial and service offerings that we provide for our resellers through Nine Wholesale.”

Adding his perspective on the launch of Nine Networks, Group CEO James Palmer commented; “this is a fantastic way to end a really strong year for Nine Group and I look forward to the Network Division product set helping our existing 450 resellers to be even more successful in 2016, as well as playing a key role in attracting new resellers to our business.
