Ebbinghaus to Head up Swyx’s Global Sales

IP PBX vendor Swyx has today announced that Ralf Ebbinghaus has been appointed to manage the company’s world-wide sales and marketing operations. He has worked with Swyx since it was established in 1999 and previously was responsible for developing record sales in Central Europe. At the end of 2006, Swyx announced a 200% growth in revenues over the same period in 2004, and has just celebrated it strongest ever first quarter.

CEO at Swyx, Guenter Junk commented on the appointment, “Over the last eight years Ralf has developed excellent relationships with both our sales partners and our major end-user customers, demonstrating an extensive knowledge of the capabilities of our technology and the business requirements of our customers. He was the ideal candidate for what will be a highly challenging and demanding role.”

He added, “We have made a significant investment to develop key European markets and channels over the last two years and now this investment is starting to pay huge dividends. I believe that Ralf’s strong leadership skills and determination will continue this development in new and existing markets, keeping SwyxWare at the forefront of IP communications technology as it evolves over the next two years.”

As part of his new role, Ralf will be responsible for managing relationships with the company’s international sales channel. To support this, he will be meeting with partners over the next few months to brief them on the next stage of the company’s on-going development.
