Incom Business Systems Completes Acquisition of Worth Comms

Incom Business Systems has announced the acquisition of Yorkshire based IT and telephony consultants Worth Comms, a move which will see group turnover exceed £5million. The combined portfolio of the two companies brings together some of the industry's strongest brands including BT, Panasonic, NEC, Shoretel, Cisco and HP.

This acquisition continues a trend of growth for Incom, following its move to impressive new Head Office premises in Manchester earlier this year. The company strives to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for business communications, be it fixed line or mobile. The purchase of Worth Comms which, in addition to its telephony accreditations, boasts an exceptionally strong IT support team, will serve to further strengthen the brand.

David Hughes, Joint MD of Incom Business Systems, comments, “Since the management buyout in 2004, we have made no secret of our desire to grow our business both organically, and through acquisition. Having secured the move to our own premises in March, this acquisition should give great comfort to our staff and customers that they are dealing with an organisation with both a fantastic heritage and an exciting, long term future.”

Incom and Worth Comms have a combined lifespan of more than 35 years in the industry, to date. Both companies pride themselves on doing business in an open, honest and ethical manner, and David Hughes continues, “The integrity of the company is paramount and the synergy between Worth Comms and Incom is perfect. We expect that the integration of the two companies’ operations, networks and technical support departments will further enhance our customers’ experience, and facilitate exciting opportunities in the future.”

Worth’s Ken Baylin and Steve Judson are welcomed onto the Incom Board of Directors. Steve Judson comments, “I'm excited about being part of a larger organisation and realising the potential of the Incom Business Systems’ group.”
